Caitlyn Coates is a Physician Assistant who joined CFI in February 2019. She graduated from Campbell University in 2013 with a Master of Physician Assistant Practice. Prior to obtaining her PA degree, Caitlyn obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with Minors in Biology and Psychology from Campbell University in 2009, followed by a Master of Public Health degree from East Carolina University in 2011. She is board certificated with the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants and is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to joining CFI, Caitlyn practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Wake County Human Services Millbrook Prenatal Clinic. Upon joining CFI, Caitlyn trained directly under Dr. Yalcinkaya in preparation for opening our Asheville clinic, where she provides care for our patients ranging from the beginning of their reproductive journey all the way to the eight-week pregnancy ultrasound. Caitlyn loves all aspects of reproductive endocrinology, but especially enjoys performing procedures and educating patients regarding their infertility treatment options.
Caitlyn is a native of Eastern North Carolina and recently moved to Asheville, NC. Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking, and anything to do with her two dogs. She is very excited to extend CFI’s individualized, patient-based care to those in the Asheville and surrounding areas.
