Carolinas Fertility Institute (CFI) and RESOLVE join the the National Infertility Association in recognizing National Infertility Awareness Week®, April 24th through April 30th. CFI supports millions of women and men fighting the disease of infertility, healthcare professionals, mental health professionals, and other local leaders to promote greater awareness about infertility.

RESOLVE works to improve the lives of women and men living with infertility. One in eight U.S. couples have trouble getting pregnant or sustaining a pregnancy. RESOLVE addresses this public health issue by providing community to these women and men, connecting them with others who can help, empowering them to find resolution and giving voice to their demands for access to all family building options.

Carolinas Fertility Institute is a practice with offices in Winston Salem and Greensboro that specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of infertility.

CFI has been delighting patients with high success rates and attentive service since their opening in March 2015. The practice specializes in highly-personalized treatment and IVF procedures which often result with first-cycle pregnancies. The practice has a new office scheduled to open in Charlotte this summer.

“National Infertility Awareness Week® is a movement to educate the public and create greater awareness and understanding about infertility in North Carolina. Our goal is to help women and men find answers and get the support they need to make important medical decisions and address the medical, emotional, social and economic challenges infertility can present,” Dr. Tamer Yalcinkaya, Founder and Director at CFI.

“The theme of National Infertility Awareness Week® is ‘You are not alone.’

Every day someone is told they have infertility which can often leave the person feeling isolated and powerless. RESOLVE is delighted to work with medical practices and organizations across the country to call attention to the disease of infertility and remind those suffering, they are not alone. In fact, RESOLVE provides free support services in communities nationwide,” said Barbara Collura, RESOLVE’s President/CEO. “This is an important week for our community to rally around the cause of infertility.”
